Talking about Victoria ’s stay in Dublin , I’m going to describe 3 of her experiences I like the most:
- The fact that she went there to look after 4 children to earn money is very interesting. I think that it must be difficult for her to get used of them and understand them, and I also guess that it should have been a great experience for her.
- Another thing I like about her trip is that she had to live and stay with a family if she wanted to take care of the children. I personally think that living with foreign people is very useful, because you learn more about their language; you improve your English and you also know their culture, their customs and their behaviours.
- The thing I like the most about her trip is that she met new people and she also made new foreign friends. I strongly believe that meeting foreign people is the best thing that can happens in your life and it is also an incredible and unique experience, because if you make friends of other countries and nationalities, you learn of each other, you also know more things about their habits and cultures and you realise that each person is different from you and from the rest. With that experience you start to see the world and your country in different way and you notice what real life means outdoors.
She has given many tips to us if we want to travel abroad. The 3 tips I have found more interesting and useful are:
- Mix yourself with locals. If you go to local places you will meet more people and you will notice that they are caring and they care about you and want to know about who you are, your customs, cultures, habits and so on.
- Carry your id and your passport always with you. If you loose your passport you cant be able to come back to your country unless you have your id with you. So it is very important that you always travel with both of them.
- Learn the language of the country. If people talk in English, you should improve it and try to study other languages if you go abroad. Apart from learning the native language, you should search some information about the country you are going to visit, such as its culture, religion, habits…
Talking about future, I have some aims that I want to achieve in the near future, but the 3 things I’m sure I want to become real are:
- Study medicine as a degree in university and be a forensic as a career.
- Earn money and travel around world. I really want to visit each country of each continent and also meet new places and new people before I die.
- Learn 3 more languages apart from English and French (and native language). These 3 languages are: Italian, German and maybe Turkish or Chinese.
